2. 2023: Group List 11 Igbo Politicians Viable For Presidency

An Igbo group, Igbo for President Solidarity Group, currently headed by a Yoruba man, Dr Olukayode Oshiariyo, has listed 11 politicians from the South-Eastern states that can contest for presidency come 2023. According to the group which noted that the time had come for the Igbo tribe to produce the next president, said the 11 listed politicians are “qualified to be presented as presidential candidates in 2023 general elections”.

A helicopter on Friday crashed into a building at Opebi area, Off Salvation Road, Ikeja Lagos State. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) had said rescuers on their way to the scene.

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, has finally risen on his feet again after years of being stuck to a wheelchair. Naija News reports that Ayefele disclosed that he has finally risen on his feet again in a video he published on the social media platform, Instagram on Friday, August 28. The gospel singer became paralysed after being involved in a life-threatening accident.
