The leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State cannot be ousted from office.
Naija News reports that the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja will deliver judgement in the certificate forgery case filed against Obaseki by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a chieftain of the party, Edobor Williams, on Saturday.
The presiding judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed fixed Saturday after lawyers to both parties adopted their final written addresses.
Speaking during his church crossover service, Primate Ayodele noted that Obaseki is God’s project, adding that no matter what God will make him come out victorious in his court battle.
“The governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki is God’s project. his enemies can not remove him through court cases.
“He will overcome the court case ahead of him, his enemies won’t be able to pull him down now, he is God’s project,” he said.
Recall that Primate Ayodele had warned the Edo governor to be on alert because he foresees that his enemies want to pull him down with ‘Kangaroo court judgment’.
In his words: “Obaseki must wake up, they want to bring his government down, he must not sleep so that they will not use kangaroo court judgment against him.
“He and his deputy must not allow discrepancies, they must take every step, so they won’t give them a shock.”
