The lawmaker representing Cross River South Senatorial district, Florence Ita-Giwa has pleaded with Nigerian youths to forgive politicians.
Senator Ita-Giwa made this call while reacting to the looting of public and private properties in Cross River and other parts of the country.
The lawmaker in a video spotted online admitted to the failure of politicians and the the older generation.
She said amid tears, “I am sorry for all the hurt the government has caused us. The ‘big people’ have failed and this generation has suffered enough. Please, stop the looting and burning”
