Nollywood actor turned politician, Yul Edochie, has called for President Muhammadu Buhari’s resignation over bad governance.
According to the Biafra agitator, Buhari was very vocal during the previous administration and had severally challenged the then president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to resign of his position on the basis of poor performance.
Edochie noted that Nigerians had put their hope in Buhari for better governance but he failed woefully.
The actor in a post on his verified Twitter account on Monday, October 19, urged President Buhari to resign of his position. He tweeted; “President Buhari was very vocal during the previous Govt. He called for Goodluck’s resignation on the basis of poor performance.”
“Today Buhari’s performance is worse than that of Jonathan. We put our hopes in him & he failed us.
“I call for Buhari’s resignation.”
